Canlis Restaurant Wedding, Seattle | A + J

One of my business goals for 2024 is to share more of my work. So on the second day of January, here I am — finally getting around to sharing this wedding that I shot with Molly in 2022.

Couple + Family Photos at Volunteer Park

My time with A and J began at Volunteer Park for newlywed and family photos. We traipsed around the Seattle Asian Art Museum and the surrounding park for pictures of the couple before meeting up for family photos against a gorgeous green backdrop.

Ceremony + Reception at Canlis Restaurant, Seattle

After family photos, we caravanned over to renowned Seattle Restaurant Canlis. Canlis is right in the heart of Seattle, nestled against the backdrop of the iconic skyline. Every detail of A and J’s intimate wedding was meticulously curated to create a romantic experience. From the moment guests entered the space, they were enveloped in an atmosphere of warmth and sophistication.

Ceremony

The ceremony was mostly standing room, with only a few chairs for the couples family. The number of guests in attendance was less than 100, which emphasized the love and care that each guest had for the couple. The vows were short and sweet and tears filled most eyes.

The couple asked that no photos of their ceremony be shared online.

Reception

Following the reception, A and J mingled with their loved ones and enjoyed cocktails. Canlis Restaurant's culinary prowess was showcased in a delectable feast that delighted the palates of all in attendance. From artisanal appetizers to a decadent wedding cake, every bite was a testament to the couple's discerning taste and the venue's commitment to culinary excellence.
